Yundler Brondino Verlag, based in Marseille and Tel Aviv, was created in 2015 the day after the founders met, professed their mutual desire to have a publishing company and fell in love. Guy wanted to form a publishing house to support fellow artists and to allow himself to make books exactly how he envisioned they should be. Aurore was a graphic designer who, since she was a child spending time in her grandmother’s store, always found books to be the most irresistible objects and longed to have a publishing house. Their story together began with that initial date and since then they have created a dozen publications devoted to art and artists, each being a beautiful work in themselves. Here I have selected three books and one edition from their offering. A House Without Rooms, a catalog for a group show, a framed riso print edition, Flying-Fingers Over Ding-Dong Beach, by the artist Austin Eddy, a riso book by Austin Eddy in the same manner and the duo’s first book, a catalog of Guy’s work, Ancienne Rive. The regular use of pink is inspiring.
